About Me

Growing up in the country, surrounded by forests, meadows, and Mom's beautiful gardens has been the major catalyst for me as an artist.  My deep connection to nature and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains are a constant source of inspiration.

I've been making art most of my life.  I'm self-taught and I work in a wide variety of media. I'm drawn to the flora and fauna I find in my explorations, and in my own backyard.  Incorporating natural materials in to he the work has been fun and rewarding as has creating functional pieces using my artwork.
